The North Face of the Eiger is world renown as one of Europe’s most challenging climbs. For trekkers it is a stunning 4000m (13000 ft) cliff face walling in a green and lush flower filled alpine valley. The area is staggeringly beautiful. From rolling alpine meadows huge towering cliff faces have risen, and sheer sided valleys spilling crystal clear waterfalls have been etched. The trekking is diverse and is suited to all levels. There are many balcony paths that contour the valley walls, all easily accessed by a network of cable cars and cog railways. For those looking for a challenge there are plenty of steeper treks and peaks available too.

Getting there - It takes approximately 3 hours by transfer or train from GenevaAirport or 2h 15mins from Zurich Airport.

Accommodation - All grades of hotels, lodges and camping options are available.

Best suited to - From novice first timers to experienced trekkers, routes can be adapted to suit all standards.
